AB168 is a 48kHz portable remote AudioRack for use with the Qu, Avantis and SQ mixers, and with AHM audio matrix processors.
Featuring 16 mic preamps with Phantom Power indicators and 8 XLR balanced, relay protected line outs on XLR, the AB168 runs on Allen & Heath’s proprietary dSNAKE protocol and is compatible with both the Qu, Avantis and SQ ranges. A second EtherCon expander port is provided for daisy chaining compatible expanders or connection to ME personal mixers. Adding an AB168 to a compatible system allows some or all I/O to be positioned up to 100m from the mixer. The unit connects over a single Cat5 cable to the Qu/GLD mixer or AR2412 AudioRack via a secure dSNAKE EtherCon port. No configuration required, just connect to your mixer and you’re ready to go. Firmware updates are handled automatically by the mixer.
