Allen & Heath AH-AR2412-BLK  24 XLR Input / 12 XLR Output – 48kHz

AR2412 is a 48kHz, 24 XLR input, 12 XLR output Audio Rack, compatible with Qu, Avantix and SQ mixers, and with the AHM audio matrix processors.

Adding an AR2412 to your system lets you position some or all of your I/O up to 100m from the mixer, connected over a single Cat5 cable running Allen & Heath’s dSNAKE protocol.  dSNAKE provides control to the remote preamp, and all mic preamps are scene recallable.  No configuration required, just connect to your mixer and you’re ready to go. All Firmware updates are handled automatically by the mixer.  There are dedicated ports for connection to an AR84 or AB168, and to the ME Personal Mixing System. This unit also includes 12 balanced, relay protected line outputs on XLR and +60dB of gan with -20dB pad for line level sources.  AR2412 also includes a Monitor port for connection to ME-1 personal mixers, and an Expander port for daisy chaining to an AR84 or AB168.

The AR2412 can be placed up to 100m away from the mixer for maximum flexibility of positioning and includes rack ears for mounting in a 3U 19″ rack space.  The unit connects over a single Cat5 cable to the mixer or upstream Expander. A second port is provided for daisy-chaining to another compatible expander or for connection to a ME personal mixing system.
