Electro-Voice TX2181 - Dual 18" Subwoofer with EVS-18S Woofers
These high performance speakers feature EV's SMX woofers, which yield extraordinarily low levels of distortion without sacrificing sensitivity. The backbone grille design is aesthetically remarkable while also damage-resistant, and the input panels and handle were ergonomically designed for maximum comfort and utility. Steep slope analog crossovers with elliptical filters provide up to 36dB per octave slopes, greatly reducing acoustic transducer interaction for better sound and higher power handling. Finally, the floor monitors feature a patent-pending SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) design which utilizes a split baffle layout, allowing the enclosure to be more compact and yielding near-perfect driver phase summation.
