The Datavideo 2 USB to Mini USB Y Cable is an 21" (53.34 cm) cable designed for the HDD25 drive enclosure, and it's compatible with HDR-40/50/100/200 and DN-400/500 recorders.
This cable is for connecting the removable 2.5" HDD enclosure directly to a PC once it's detached from the main recorder unit. This cable has 3 USB connectors - 1 mini and 2 standard (A). The mini USB end of this cable attaches to the back of the enclosure and one of the standard USB ends attaches to the PC.
The third standard USB connector on this cable is for supplying additional USB power from the PC to the enclosure if needed.
